Alitalia’s new “Rome – New Delhi” and “Rome – Malè” direct flights presented at our restaurant
Starting from next 30th October, Alitalia will inaugurate a new daily direct Rome-New Delhi flight, resuming the service between Italy and India. On the 31st October, a new direct Rome-Malé will fly three times a week to meet the increasing demand for flights between the two countries.
Over 50 travel agencies were invited to know more about this news and attended two business meetings organized by the Italian airline company “Alitalia” at our restaurant Tasting Sicily Enzo’s Kitchen in Piccadilly.
The company, thought its Area Manager in United Kingdom, Ireland and Denmark Gianni Leone (pictured 3rd from the left, with chef Enzo Oliveri, Tasting Sicily co-founders Andrea Scarpignato and Luisa Ingoglia), has been supporting the cultural activities organized by The Sicilian Chef Enzo Oliveri and it is now our restaurant’s partner organization.
Alitalia says: “On both routes Alitalia will operate with the newly designed Airbus A330 aircraft, offering three classes of service: Business, Premium Economy and Economy. Onboard services include newly redesigned cabin layouts, Wi-Fi connectivity and Italian cuisine. Alitalia’sMilleMiglia members will be able to earn and redeem miles on the new flights”.
The new services make a total of six long-haul destination launched by Alitalia since last year – after Santiago de Chile, Mexico City, Beijing and Havana and strengthens the position of Alitalia as a long haul carrier.
We are glad to host its events dedicated to Italy: Sicilian food and drink, along with the traditional welcoming approach of our island, is key to jazz up any meeting!
