Easter is the biggest celebration in our native Sicily: for this reason at Tasting Sicily Enzo’s Kitchen everything is ready to welcome you and your dearest for your family celebrations.
Chef Enzo Oliveri has put together a special 3 course menu featuring delicious authentic recipes, from Good Friday 30th March to Monday the 2nd April “Pasquetta”.
Easter Sunday lunch will be, of course, the perfect occasion to try genuine quality food from Sicily: why not to treat you with it?
The feast opens with two starters to choose from: veggie asparagus soup or king prawns in white wine with creamy chickpeas.
The main dishes include delicate gnocchi with pumpkin, pinenuts and sage, or, in case you prefer stronger flavors, escalopes in red wine, topped with red peppers, ham and mozzarella.
As dessert, TastingSicilyUK brings to the table the most iconic cake of the island: Cassata Siciliana, with ricotta cheese and marzipan. As alternative, chef Enzo prepares his Pistachio delight cake.
